Bell Ringer Roster for 2016-2017 w photos

Each day (except when special events preclude it), one of these valiant bell-ringers climbs the tower to the chamber containing the College’s chime of 10 bells — whose ringing levers challenge even the most intrepid pianist at first.

Seven days a week they coax melodies to delight and beguile us from 10,762 pounds of bronze-cast by the Meneely Bell Company of Troy, NY and installed in the autumn of 1904.

Hours: Saturday – Tuesday and Thursday & Friday, 12:50-1 p.m., 4-4:10 p.m. and 6:50 -7 p.m., Wednesday, 12:50-1 p.m. and 6:50- 7 p.m.

Click on this link to hear The Mountains played by a few of our student bell ringers as they ring in the New Year in style.
